I booked this cabin (Big Bear Hideaway) for our family spring break March 21-28 a few days ago. It was 1722 after taxes and fees. I got the confirmation e-mail that it was booked and was told in the e-mail they would contact me after they “reviewed my order.” I noticed the next day the money never left my account so I called them to find out what the status was. I was told by the man who answered that they had rejected my reservation because they were raising the prices! NO ONE CALLED me to tell me this. He said at that point, the pricing was done and I could re-book it. They now want 2100 after taxes and fees for the week. No thank you, we got a much nicer, 3 story, beautiful and updated cabin through Aunt Bugs Cabin Rentals instead, and it was 100 cheaper than what you’re asking for now. You guys ought to be ashamed in the way you went about this. I hope and pray that cabin (Big Bear Hideaway) stays empty that week and you get nothing (0) instead.

Most comfortable and charming canin I've ever stayed in! The experience was amazing!! Definitely coming back!
Cabin in poor condition electrical tape over outlets . Faucets not working and spa bath filthy and smelled like iron. Not worth the price stay away.
I purchased a room a month ago and I didn’t hear anything about it. Then I call and make sure everything was good 2 days before and they said that my request was denied and I even had the confirmations numbers. Very dissatisfied!
Cabin- A Bear's Alpine Splash in Pigeon Forge: To begin, the GPS will take you to this cabin via a super SCARY winding road without side rails which is crazy dangerous. So upon our departure, we wanted to ride down the famous Parkway with all the attractions, we put Parkway in the GPS and discovered there is a MUCH SAFER road to and from the cabin and it is a straight quick shot from the Parkway (TIP) SMH! Go figure :-( ---------------------------------------- *PRO's: -Checking In & Out Con-tactless was Effortless and simply EXCELLENT! -The cabin's Hospitality App is Unbelievably PERFECT & FLAWLESS filled with every bit of info you will need!! -Matt was just a text away and responds instantly! -The Cabin was WONDERFULLY Decorated! -The Pool was AMAZING and super CLEAN :-) ----------------------------------------- Con's: -The hot tub was not cleaned prior to our arrival therefore, after driving 5 hours we were not able to relax in it and told not to get in for 14 hours (I texted Mat to inform him & he sent a man, who showed up within 15mins to drain the tub and refill with the appropriate chemicals). - A past renter left a review, stating, \The metal chairs on the deck are not meant for sitting\ I must say she is absolutely CORRECT! (TIP) My adult daughter & I had to use our own blankets to sit on the chairs, as they were horribly uncomfortably. -You cannot see Mountains from the Cabin :-( -At night, the back area is completely DARK, even with the balcony lights on so be prepared for spookiness :-) ----------------------------------------- **OVERALL: We thoroughly enjoyed our Stay and would absolutely Return
