I'm also, Turing. the check into my bank. Who sends a 3,800 check and want you to keep 750 and send the rest too a specialist. 100% Scam.
Got a fake check from this address from the postal service. I work for the postal service this is a scam. Never in a million years with the postal service use ups to send something it's a scam. Do not deposit.

And the person kept texting me asking if I deposited the check yet.check amount 2984 I need to know who are you guys. Why are you sending me the check.
