We went to Csonka Falls with the kids. We hiked in carrying a 1 year old in a pack. Definitely was not an easy trek, but we made it. Husband toted the kid on the way back thankfully. It was a beautiful hike and I wish we could have made it to Cascade Falls, but at least we got to Csonka and saw something, lol

Beautiful park. We wish we had more time to spend here. Sites are well maintained. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. Lots of great trails to hike.

Really loved camping at FDR. Bathhouses are cleaner than any state park I’ve ever camped at before. The hosts do such a great job taking care of this place. They have fantastic firewood available too! There’s cell phone reception here, too. Lovely views of the lake and a great place to ride on the hilly roads. Bring your bike!

We went Jan 1, 2021- Jan 3, 2021. We had site 513, which is a pull-through. It was beautiful. All the staff were super nice. Overall, a great way to start off a new year.

Love this park. Family and i come here frequently. Staff is always nice. The camp store is super helpful. They have entire overnight toiletrie kits as well as a few essentials (like sugar) for coffee that we unfortunately forgot on our last trip. Firewood also for sale cheaper than outside. One of my favorite campgrounds.
