We love this place very nice people and the staff is great they remember you!!!lol. Very clean camp ground.....we will be back for Sure ....thank you for all you do to make it a great place. May be add some twins set up by the river be great .

I have been going here for several years. The people are the main reason I keep coming back. Nicest friendliest people to deal with. I don’t know any of them personally or by name but every single time I have been there they just greet you so kindly and go out of their way to be helpful. I have seen men who work there go running to help women and children carry their coolers and such. I think the camping is a little pricey but I think they all are from what I hear so I don’t think they are significantly higher than others in the area. My only real complaint is bathroom cleanliness. It could be worse no doubt but it could also be better. Many times in the morning I see them cleaning the bathrooms and think I will walk into a clean restroom right after the cleaners leave and I am always disappointed. They do the very basics and that’s about it. The same dirt and marks are there that was there before they cleaned. But all in all I will continue to come because the staff are so nice. I always feel safe and have a wonderful time.

Fantastic!! Great people, friendly and professional, you can tell they work very hard and passionately to provide a top notch experience for you. Equipment was all in exceptional shape, and the river was beautiful. Will definitely be bringing my business back this summer!!

The staff at Big Elk are all amazing! We camped for two nights and loved it. The good: everyone who worked there was very friendly and accommodating, the sites were clean when we arrived, the location on the river is great. The bad: the camp sites were not clearly marked, very little was done to control the excessive noise coming from a few of the campsites that were so loud we couldn't talk without yelling, no grills at the large campsites, picnic tables at only a few of the sites. Overall I would recommend Big Elk!

We are very pleased and love it. We have reserved again during Labor Day weekend. We just left eagles nest 3 days early and only option was credit. Eagles nest is a joke and big elk is 1000 percent better
