3.5 stars. Service was ok. We ordered over the phone and went to pick up the pizza. The restaurant was empty and there was a guy behind the counter on his ipad. We stood there for maybe 10 minutes without acknowledgement. Awkward. We had to wsit until another guy came out of the kitchen to be acknowledged. We were given free garlic knots. The buffalo chicken pizza was on the salty side. Perhaps from the buffalo sauce? The veggie pizza was good though. The crust was a little soggy as well probably from sitting there awhile.
The best and service in the area. We drive from Bridgewater for their pizza. Always friendly -- sometimes they throw in a little surprise for the kids.
I was really in between 3 and 4 stars for this. I ordered garlic knots which I expected to be more garlicky? They came really hot and fresh but didn't have much garlic flavor to them. They were a bit smaller than what I am used to seeing as well. For 2, it was fine. The grandma pie was good but I felt the crust could have been a tad bit thicker. It was really quite a thin crust for a grandma pie which I'm not used to. All in all the flavors are good. I've definitely come back before for other pies so I think I'd recommend this place overall.
I've known the owners John and Chris for years and they always have the best pizza in town!! They take good care of their customers by having fresh food made to order and thats how business should be!! Too many places are too interested in getting you in and out. Not at Giannis, they take the time to talk to and meet your needs as a customer.
