Had a fun hour or so at the gem mine. While these gems are brought in from all over the world, it is a lot of fun to find the different gems and rocks. The family that runs the mine are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Compared to other local gem mine prices online, I think this was a solid value and it was definitely a cool experience! This location was an outdoor flue that was mostly covered with a roof.

Took my family and some friends here recently. The experience is amazing and Lola was top notch and super attentive. We found tons of gems and rocks in our buckets and would recommend this to anyone looking for a couple hours of fun (seriously we spent two hours enjoying the hunt)

We had a fantastic time! I have visited other gem mines and this one had more gems for the 4 of us in our bucket! Large gems and crystals which made it so much more fun. When we arrived a really sweet young lady helped us decide which bucket to purchase! I wish I had gotten her name. When we went outside Lauren was our host. She helped us learn about the gems we were finding and she made us feel welcome and we didn’t feel rushed and were able to take our time. It was so much fun that we purchased a second bucket! Lauren also let my grandsons help crack the geodes!! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

My husband, daughter and myself visited here last week on our vacation. We bought a large bucket for my daughter but my husband and I had just as much fun with it! She found three large geodes, teeth, arrowheads and more. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. They helped us identify our treasures. We were outside but under a large covered area. We will definitely be back when we visit Asheville again.

Such a fun little place! My kids, 8 & 9, loved it! They found sharks teeth, rocks that were struck by lightning and really cool gems! The stream is a perfect little place for photos too. The employees were really helpful and nice. We had two buckets to start but ended up buying one more much larger bucket as well. We will definitely go back!
