AmpSurf has surf instructors trained to work with people with physical and mental disabilities, as well as a crew of military veterans and friends that help out and offer encouragement. I have see their work in action, and everyone is being safe, having fun, and learning something. They truly “FOCUS ON ABILITIES”... it’s not just a catchy phrase to get donations, IT IS AmpSurf’s focus. VetSurf Fridays at the Addie St. Surfer Parking in Pismo Beach is a great opportunity for veterans and active military to use a board and wetsuit provided by AmpSurf and get a free lesson... or to just have donuts, coffee and hang out at the beach! Come be a part of the fun! Surfing is healing.
