This is my first time visit and I'm very impressed. I'm a Chatham County native who has recently moved back home. Great, helpful staff and really nice historical displays. I didn't have enough time for a proper visit and I'll definitely be going back. I also plan to contribute some items and to also do some volunteering. A must visit to get a proper introduction to Chatham County!

There is a quite nice and informative history in the museum area on the 1st floor. Much expanded from the tiny space they used to have before the terrible fire of a number of years ago. I am sure they would welcome any historical artifacts that people would like to donate.

The lady who gave us the tour was very knowledgeable.

Hidden gem. We had our wedding here in the court room which is an undescribly wonderful venue. The museum.kn the first floor is professional and with the trip.

Nice courthouse that's been restored since 2010, when the fire burnt it down. Be aware there's a confederate statue out front, which some people may find offensive.
