Spoke with a very rude receptionist asked for her supervisor - she put me on hold for over 12 min before i hung up! Very unprofessional!

Via Christi village is not like your typical nursing home. When you walk in it’s almost like your home. There are no long hallways, no weird smells, and caring welcoming staff.

Caring staff who will be there for your loved one when you can’t be.

This is an amazing place to work. The staff not only care about the residents as if they were their own family, they treat each other as staff.

While I cannot comment on their service practices or performance in the actual job. I can comment on the interview process and hiring and not hiring process. When I applied they did get back to me promptly which was the only good part of this process. I scheduled an interview and got there about 30 minutes early where there they had me fill out a paper application I could of filled out online to save both of us time. Then when that was done I got to the interview with the HR person there. I described my skills and they acted as if they didnt care in the least nodding and doing that pretending to listen action that we all know. They also didnt even seem to have read my resume even though I clearly saw it in her hands. It went terribly because she told me I was applying for one thing when it was another entirely so It was either puropseful misleading or something else with bad intentions. When the interview was done I as always was polite and went on my way. However at the end she told me she would make a decision by friday. This part infuriated me the most because I didnt check my mail for several days due to life and stresses but when I finally remembered I went and saw a letter from them dated the same day as my interview and inside was the usual speech of \oh thanks for your interest\ mass send out letter format. Which means she did not wait and instead immediately sent out a letter disregarding me entirely. This hiring process was a mess from start to finish especially at the finish. I cannot believe they would do that and not even give me a good through look over and not deciding everything on an interview.
