Rosa did an AMAZING job altering my wedding dress and bringing my dream to life! It was too long and she altered it to be the perfect length with no change to all the lace detail! Also she added beautiful off the shoulder sleeves to my strapless dress. I am so thankful for such a talented seamstress!

We took my daughters wedding dress to her in February for alterations for a April wedding. She picked it up 4 days before the wedding. The dress was horrible it was completely butchered and looked like a amateur did it. She added fabric that didn't match the color of the dress and it looked like she threw it together last minute. We had 3 days to try to find my daughter another dress. She destroyed a 800.00 dress that we can't even sell now no one would buy it.

We have used this business in the past for a bridesmaid dress and we were happy with her work. We returned last month with a prom dress, which required more work than simple hemming. This turned out to be a huge mistake. She was supposed to let the dress out about 1/4 inch (just so it was easier to zip over a thick seam), hem the skirt, and add a piece of mesh to the front . When we first went to pick it up, the dress wouldn't zip and we questioned whether it had been let out. She swore it had been and that my daughter had just \gained too much weight\ but that she would let it out more. She also had not added the mesh piece as requested. We returned the following Wednesday to pick up the dress. Not only was the dress not let out, she appears to have taken it in instead. Now, instead of a less than 1/4 inch gap, there is a 4 inch gap where the zipper won't close. She again swore that she let it out as far as she could and told my 15 year old (110 lb, size 2) daughter MULTIPLE times that she just \gained too much weight\ so the dress didn't fit anymore. I'm fine with a person making a mistake - she had a LOT of prom dresses to alter - and perhaps she did accidentally take it in instead of let it out. But to try and blame the customer? Just own your mistake. So, here we are, 2 days before prom, holding our breath that a relative is going to be able to work some magic to make my daughter's 600 dress wearable in time for Saturday. I would NOT recommend this business at a high volume time and we will never patronize her again. I will also let the dress shop who recommended her know how she treats her customers.

we went to pick up the brides wedding dress that was being altered (the wedding is in 3 days, they have had the dress for 3 months) and they FORGOT ABOUT IT. yes. that’s right. they forgot to finish the dress. UNACCEPTABLE. UNPROFESSIONAL. UNTRUSTWORTHY. UNFORGIVABLE. unless you want to add stress & frustration in your life, don’t go to Golden Stitches. take your business elsewhere.
