I completed the Elite Bartending School program, and was very impressed by the amount of material covered in such a short time. The skills they teach are vital to becoming a great bartender, and you learn from the best! I took the class during Winter break in college. Upon completion, I took my certificate to local bars in my college town and all of my interviewers were impressed. No, it is not mandatory to have this before becoming a bartender, but being able to confidently walk in to an interview able to list the ingredients to drinks is sure to get you the job! I got a job bartending a week after I got back, and it was some of the most fun I had at college! 10/10 would recommend to a friend!
