A local friend took us here, while we stayed in Pittsburgh. It was a rainy day, so not a lot of people were at this spot. As a photographer, this was a nice bonus ;)! You can park in that area and walk to the viewpoint. It was not a long journey. The view is amazing. You do see the three rivers crossing and some nice tall buildings from downtown, a stadium and much more can be seen. This place is free and does have an amazing view. I highly recommend it.

With many of the restaurants and shops closed due to the pandemic, the view is the focus! Whether daytime or nighttime, the view of the rivers and city are outstanding. Worth a trip up, even if you’re staying downtown.
Great view of the city, as everyone will tell you. Want a little different but still great view? Go down to the north shore! Less crowded, great views, more to do!
it is GORGEOUS. I recommend going on a Friday. its less crowded. sunset and sunrise is absolutely amazing and even 12 am is beautiful. we actually stayed in an apartment on Mt. Washington. 10/10 would recommend.
Now this is a billion dollar view right here. You can see the whole of downtown Pittsburgh from up here. Make sure to come when the sun is setting. The sunset reflects the light off the skyscrapers beautifully. There is parking in the street here. There are also beautiful homes along the street.
