This is my favorite place hands down all year round! Whether it be a day trip, a week long camping trip or somewhere in between. I always know that this place will deliver unbelieveable views and experiences that you will cherish for a lifetime. 10/10 would check out the us forestry website if you ever want to come up and see all the amazing things this forest has to offer!

Beautiful area. We love to get down by the creeks and tent camp. If you go far enough back in you won't see many people at all, if any. The plants are amazing, so green and lavish. The water temp is very nice in July. I enjoyed these forests as a kid and now I'm doing the same with my kids.
It was all nice and forestie and what not. It had snow and great wide open spaces. It is a great place to visit. Just remember pack out what you pack in and DON'T leave a mess!
It was a perfect day... breathtaking views... unfortunately I left my phone in the car and have no pictures... we went for a short hike to a small lake... peaceful and beautiful... our German Shepherd was so happy and acted like a mountain goat.. we'll definitely be back!!
A wonderful hike in the beautiful forest, so grateful that we have this special place right up the road :)
