Great hike, intermediate difficulty, wonderful views at the top. Also, many wonderful people at the top. Too many. The top does not fit that many people. There is currently a pandemic. The trail is not a loop or a network: there's really just one place to go, here. If you see a crowded parking lot, expect it to be worse at the summit. You have been warned.

Great hike to the top of Spruce Mountain. This is a fairly easy hike, a bit steep toward the top but nothing technical. Easy hike with the dogs. Three hours doing trip. Great views from the fire tower. Bring bug spray, black flies are voracious at the top.
The hike to the fire tower here is awesome, with stunning 360 views from the tower cab.
Spruce Mtn is a great morning or afternoon hike, there are cave just off the trail in some parts and the view from the top is amazing.
Nice place for a day hike! The trees at the top need to be cleared out a bit so you can see more of the view. Perfect quick hike with kids.
