Just wow! I just had to have a mitral valve repair. The doctor did a phenomenal job. The nurses are mostly very attentive. I came in on a Friday morning and left on Monday evening, so I really liked the weekend nurses. Monday seemed like they were spread thin and weren't communicating with each other as much when changing rooms. We got everything figured out, though. I would absolutely recommend this hospital. The doctors really know what they're doing and seem to genuinely care for the patients.

By far, the most efficient and friendly medical facility that I have visited in a long time. Had the coronary calcium score screening and felt God's presence here. I was screened for COVID symptoms, then escorted to the registration office, greeted again and was checked in. I sat for a few minutes while another staff member greeted me and escorted me to another registration desk where my insurance, ID and small payment was taken for the screening. We chatted for a few minutes while my information was taken about our husbands and prayers being needed for our nation right now. It was such a nice visit and appreciated the small talk. I enjoyed the wall and desk displays on the desk too. Once finished, I walked around the corner where another staff member greeted me and explained the testing I was about to receive. He wasn't rushed and was very patient as I asked him a handful of questions. It was less than 10 minutes and I was on my way. The results will come in a few days, but until then I was extremely happy with my care, attention and efficiency. I pray I don't have any serious issues with my health, but know if I do, I'll be in the best of hands.

7 weeks post Mitral, tricuspid valve and pacemaker. Wonderful hospital. Every department from the greeters, to the doctors were excellent. God bless all the nurses that took care of me. Although my procedure was more complicated than had expected, l felt assured that l was in the right place. Next stop is cardiac rehab. Highly recommend this facility for heart related procedure.

My love (R) suffered an aortic dissection at 34 years old. Within the first few moments of him being airlifted in for emergency surgery, the staff had kept me informed of the situation. They fixed him in under 8 hours. Dr. Brinkman and his team saved R's life. They updated me every 2h while he was in surgery. Even after surgery, the nurses were amazing. Mandy did a great job keeping us up to date and pain controlled. She pulled out chest tubes like a champ! The night nurses (Diana, Saiju, Christina, Brandon) were all so gracious. Big thanks to the day nurses (Geetha, Fatima, Christina) for your help. Lorinne checked his temp regularly and always had a smile on her face. We could tell even though she was always masked, that she cared. Our PT, Luke, kept us laughing and entertained with conversations about movies. All the staff (PT, OT, nurses, techs, transporters, hospitality, radiology) were so helpful. Even the food guy who called back to mention that they were out of a certain bagel flavor was so considerate. He came up personally and apologized about being out of cinnamon raisin bagels! So nice! We can't thank you all enough. Everyone put in 100% effort, even during a pandemic when I'm sure they were already tired. Every physician, PA and NP took the time to ensure that we understood everything. Even though I'm starting PA school in Aug, they didn't assume that I was some medical know-it-all and they took the time to answer all my questions. The heart hospital was the best place to be during this difficult time.

Mother was here due to a heart attack. They took extremely good care of her. Due to her age, she was not a candidate for open heart surgery, but they did put 3 stints in and she is doing great for a 83 year old. Rooms are large and private. Plenty of nurses on hand to help. Food is good and you order when you want to eat not on their schedule. Very pleased with everything even during the Covid-19. They allow one visitor a day. Need attention due to heart issues, no other place than Baylor Heart Hospital.
