A year ago, I decided to get SMILE done at this facility and it was hands down the best decision I made. The doctors and the assistants are great; they make you feel at ease before, during, and after the procedure. The procedure was quick and easy. I have not had any issues so far with my eyes besides occasional dryness. I do recommend everyone to come here to get their LASIK/SMILE done.

I have been delaying LASIK surgery for a few years now and finally made the decision to interview doctors in the area. Initially, I went to a different office closer to my house in Frisco and was not impressed with the overall experience. Thankfully, I asked around and Dr. Gicheru's name came up. It was easy to schedule an appointment with his office, they were very accommodating on time and location. I was able to have my procedure done in Irving at 8 AM today and by 3 PM I was seen in the Plano office for my follow-up and was already seeing 20/20 without glasses or contacts. That's a game-changer for me! Thank you Dr. Gicheru and team for a great experience. My wife will be scheduling with your office soon

Doctor and staff are very comforting and talked me through the whole process. I was a nervous wreck to have the procedure and they reassured me and explained everything as it was happening. I would highly recommend them to anyone thinking about lasik or smile. #smile #eyes

Dr. Gicheru is great. He has a good personality. And he is a very thorough ophthalmologist. My brother and I both see him. He is a very intelligent man and really cares about people.
