I'm a mom and have no clue about the game part of this but I do shop there for my kids and have always had good luck. The staff is friendly, the store is clean, the prices seem reasonable, and occasionally I find something fun for myself. When I'm looking for a specific comic or Funko piece I usually check them out first. Thier comics selection isn't large at all but it's organized.

I love the variety of games and paraphernalia they offer. It's always fun to comb through the shelves and see what is new. The staff is friendly and very attentive. There is enough staff that all you have to do is wonder out loud where something is and they just appear to guide you. The best retail role playing game ever? lol

We're really lucky to have a comic wonderland like this in DFW. They really foster a community here, have lots of events that I wish I'd gone to more before The Plague. I've been staying at home almost pretty much 24/7, but actively make a trip out to Madness about every month to buy stuff from them and show support. They sell store tshirts and masks, I figure they get good profit from that stuff for sure. If they just did a flat out fundraiser, I'd chip in. Hoping with support, they can get back to all the game events when everybody's ready for it. I know I wont take it for granted next go around

This will be the LAST book I purchase from Madness Games and Comics. I can't respect any shop that sells new books at open at spec prices. That is shady business. Collectors should be able to find them in the wild at cover price AT LEAST on day one. I know my opinion won't matter to them, since they will sell their product anyways... But shops with no integrity don't deserve my money. I guess I didn't shop here enough to see that they played this sketchy stuff to begin with. I even understand the gravity of this book. The demand. Which is EXACTLY why there is already a SECOND print coming. To extort the community like this is still a terrible practice. I only bought it here because I was already here and the weather is bad... and I have the baby.

Went to this place for years and was so sad to give it up when I moved across DFW. One move and one pandemic later, re-visiting they are just as awesome and friendly as ever! Tons of board games and comics, lots of other fun goodies. Their apparel options seem to have significantly shrunk, but that's fine compared to everything else they offer. They also have some of the most aggressive and greatest holiday deals around (December/New Year's).
