Always clean facility. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The love they show is impressive for each furry/non-furry friend!! The adoption process is quick and easy. I fell in love with our new family member immediately. She loved me too, a perfect match.

I found a lost black lab in my apartment complex. Since he had no info tags I called Plano animal control. They were very nice on the phone and after not sure of what I should do (bring him inside or take the dog to them) they dispatched an officer to come get the dog. I continued to follow him around (he was too big to physically hold still and didn’t seem to know any commands) for a few more minutes when I saw their truck coming down the driveway. The lady who showed up VERY quickly was very nice and 100% professional with the dog and me. I was so grateful to hear that the dog DID has a microchip and his family can be contacted! Thank you Plano animal control!

I've adopted 3 fur babies from this location and I've always had a good experience. The staff is for the most part friendly. I've had a couple people who were a little snappy but I think it was just a stressful day. The facility is always clean. I love coming to see all the fur babies. I wish i could adopt them all. I just wish they fed the dogs more but i know that there is limited funds. So many look so skinny and it breaks my heart.

Nice place just wish I didn't have to pay 50 to surrender our cat, but in the end I guess it's worth it since the other shelters were not taking in pets or I couldn't find anyone to take him. Cute little guy. Name is bagheera if you see him
