The doctors are excellent here, my issue is with the billing department. They wrongly coded the claim to my insurance and they denied and asked them to use the correct code. Instead of filing with correct code they sent me a full bill for me to pay. You guys need to file with correct code and while sending bills make sure to include the member price of in network providers. I have been trying to call your billing department from last 3 days with no response.

I was here in summer of 2020. The one star review is strictly for the two technicians that did my initial check up. Both the lady that dilated my eyes, and the technician that checked for my eye pressure were unpleasant, unprofessional and rude. The lady technician (a white lady with blondish hair) tilted my head back with force to dilate my eyes. I was sitting in a chair, and my head hit the wall. Not hard, but it was still unpleasant. When I said \ouch\ hoping she would give me a moment to adjust myself. She didn't even react and kept going. The other technician (a hispanic male with broad shoulders) sighed, and literally placed his hand behind my neck when doing the eye pressure test. He could have just instructed me to tilt my head or move or something. Nothing. He didn't give me a warning, and just went ahead and placed his hand on the back of my neck. He didn't let go until the test was done. I wanted to tell someone but I was so anxious and wasn't even sure what to do. Also, at the time I just wanted was to see the doctor, get my diagnosis and get out. These two technicians made me extremely uncomfortable. Dr. Qureshi was my doctor and the appointment with him went smoothly. He was thorough and explained my eye issue. I have a follow-up coming up in early spring 2021, and frankly I am feeling anxious to go in because of those two technicians. I urge this office to take patient concerns seriously. I loved the doctor, but I am not sure I want to return due to this uncomfortable experience with the technicians.
Unfortunately I had to have a couple of procedures done through the retina center of Texas. Fortunately they are some of the nicest people I've ever met. Dr Qureshi is very kind, personable, knowledgeable, and a good surgeon. He takes time with each patient to explain the condition of the eye, and what procedures are necessary for optimal vision. The staff is very courteous, personable and efficient at their jobs. The office has three locations for the convenience of its patients. I prefer the one in Plano as it is closest to me, but there is one in Grapevine and in Fort Worth. Depending upon your insurance there are several different surgery centers available
My mother who is 89 got a surgery appointment on the 26 of June/2020 for macular degeneration on her right eye & I bought the 3 prescriptions they sent to the pharmacy for after the surgery, The Surgery was reschedule for the 20th of July/2020. When she showed up she was told the operation was not supposed to be done to her because of her advanced age so a lasik on her left eye was done for minor eye pressure relief, so why did they prescribed antibiotics to her in the first place?. She had been taken eye drops for about 10 years now for glaucoma on both eyes so when I called the doctor’s office 3 times to ask about using the old prescription after the lasik I was told be the manager that she would not know that. She said: “you have to ask the doctor that prescribe them to her if she should still use them after the lasik” They refuse to return my calls about the prescription.
Dr. Johnathan Warminski of Retina Center of Texas saved my vision. A few weeks ago, the vision in my right eye became blurry over the last half of a Friday. I found an optometrist open on Saturday, and she gave me a referral to the Retina Center of Texas. Dr. Warminski quickly diagnosed that I had a hole in my retina, but he was able to use laser technology to seal it up the same day. If left untreated, this hole would have eventually caused my retina to detach. After having spent the weekend strongly suspecting that my issue was permanent, it was a great relief when Dr. Warminski told me that it was very likely not permanent. I found him to be not only highly competent and knowledgeable, but also very personable and genuinely caring. He instantly put me at ease in a very traumatic situation and I cannot recommend him highly enough.
