I'm a little disappointed in the fact that I've been put on hold of obtaining my purchased firearm Monday. While I was there I was told not wearing a mask as it is not necessary because we are still a free Country. Last time I checked if these gun background checks exceed 3 full business days, the transaction of firearms can move forward. This is according to the various articles and NCIS website. It wouldn't matter if I wasn't leaving town, but I am and my wife will be unprotected while away. So, this may be beneficial to others in my predicament. Thank you.

Hands down this is the best gun gallery/range in the area! Erik was really great with answering all of my questions when purchasing a new firearm. He was very patient and went above and beyond with information about the different firearms I was looking at as well as ensuring that I was happy with my purchase. When I returned a few days later to pick up my firearm Keith was equally as nice. I have been to a couple other local gun shops in the area and the workers there are rude and do not even acknowledge you when you walk in. Not at RKA! I have only had good experiences and excellent customer service. RKA is the only place I will support with my business.

We visited the store today looking to buy a gun, and although their inventory is limited the prices are reasonable. The staff is very friendly, informative and attentive. We have used their range as well in the past and we like it there. We did make a purchase, and we feel we got great service and a great deal. We'll be returning customers for sure.

Went here for the first time with a co-worker of mine. I drove from Elgin to here, which was about 45min but an enjoyable and traffic-less drive. The range is literally smack dab in the middle of corn fields in a commercial barn style building. It appeared to be a new establishment as well. I greatly enjoyed the ability to shoot both rifle and pistol at my leisure, with being able to stand up with the rifle. As silly as that sounds, I have been told to sit down in other rifle ranges. The range looked brand new, had a comfortable temperature, and pulled a constant draft of fresh air. Rather holder was a cardboard backing on their pulley system, which worked well. Lighting was also excellent and sound control was great. Range depth was at 25 yards. I also somehow liked the fact you have to be buzzed through the first initial door into a room that then divides you to either range 1 or 2. It gave a sense of security? Either way, the store outside had a sufficient selection of various ammunition, guns, and supplies. I think this range is my new go to every week after work.
