Chubby Cattle is a really good revolving sushi bar and hot pot. It’s all you can eat and very reasonably priced for what you get. We visited for lunch and was actually really impressed by the food quality compared to other revolving sushi places. They are super friendly and seem to have really good service.

Good hotpot for an okay price. Oxtail broth was good. The mid level spicy was is spicy but bland. Portion sizes are decent. Service was excellent. Will be returning again.
Great experience! Food was wonderful and the atmosphere was laid back and fun. High quality meats made for some delicious hot pots. There is a conveyor that brings food around, but that didn’t take the place of great servers who were eager to help explain the process. Great for date night or family meal together!
The worst service in my life ever! 1. When we got there, nobody asked us what to drink. 2. Then before our two friends came, we wanted to order first, but the elder woman said we couldn’t order until everybody got here. She said this with a weird tone ”your friend won’t come, will they?” Something like we lied for sitting a four-people table??? 3. Then we asked to order first again, but she denied to do that and persuaded us to order soup bases for our friends first. So we had to contact our friends who is driving on the way to ask what soup bases they wanted... 4. After 20 mins, our friends arrived, asking for warm water, but the elder women only gave us cold no ice water saying she only knows room temperature, doesn’t know what the warm water is. And until the end, she still didn’t serve us with warm or hot water. 5. We went there for hot pot buffet, for the first round we ordered seafood, meat and vegetables, but we finished the meat very fast so that we asked for ordering more meat. What a surprise is the server said we can’t order more beef, lamp or chicken because we didn’t finish the seafood and vegetables????? And they said it’s well-known buffet rule??? What buffet rule doesn’t allow us to order more meat after we finished all the meat like the photos (see photo 1 and 2)??? 6. We have to continue eating up seafood and vegetables, so we can ask for the round two. After the round two is served, What you can never expect is they told you your time is over which is 1.5 hours and they didn’t tell you this before. And 1.5 hours includes your waiting time for friends, hot pot base, 20mins of hot pot base boiling and time for finishing seafood vegetables so you can order second round. 7. And during the whole dinner, unless you call them loudly, nobody add water for you, nobody add soup base for you, nobody give you the napkins even check. can’t believe. What they only did are coming to tell you time’s up and keeping pushing you away.

Service was very slow. Orders of meat were forgotten, so much for all you can eat. They ran out of bowls and the self serve area was too small and crowded. Sushi was okay. Broth was nice and spicy. Overall a disappointment.
I read the reviews and was iffy about the bad things. Bite my tongue and took my family to try it out.... thank goodness we did.... AWESOME FOOD and SERVICES. I ask the waitress about this place and was told that the the place went under new management and new employees about 3 months ago.... DEFINITELY WILL COME BACK!!!!!
Amazing food. Fantastic service. We went here for Valentine's day and everyone was so nice. The food is fresh and so flavorful. Hands down my favorite hotpot place in Dallas! 5 stars
