I have nothing but praise for my doctor and her team at the Texas Back Institute. Everything was structured, timely and professional, which is always reassuring. The staff was friendly and reassuring as well as highly skilled. I was treated with dignity and respect. They patiently answered my questions and did everything to keep me comfortable. The facility is beautiful and well-maintained with CDC guidelines in mind. This was my second procedure at this facility, and I will definitely use it again when it becomes necessary. I highly recommend the Texas Back Institute. It is top-notch!

This place is full of amazing people, all the doctors and staff at TBI have been nothing but excellent,friendly,helpful,compassionate and kind. I have been coming to this location for 7 years and they have always treated me with the up most respect and professionalism. Many staff members have moved on to other endeavours and changes have been made to the inside of the lounge and offices always looking to improve on anything that would make the patient feel more at ease, l love the art work that it's displayed throughout many patient rooms and complimentary coffe/tea in the lobby. They always strive for excellence in patient care and to me personally they are always ahead . Thank you to all the staff for so the hard work, y'all have giving me a second chance to enjoy my life and for that I'm truly blessed and forever thankful.

Wonderful place for patients very comfortable and professional. These medical professionals saved my legs. Thanks to them I can walk. I’ve been going strong for almost 12 years now since my back surgery. Dr Arakel is a lifesaver.

I wish I could give -10 stars.. Dr Shellock is really nice but Billing department is worst ever. My Husband had Back surgery in December 2017. Billing department really gave Hard times with billings. Initially they estimated around 1900 as we already met deductibles, while they sent bills around 22000 giving reason as not covered by insurance (initially they said we are covered by insurance). We talked to billing department back and forth to settled down all the bills like they estimated which took almost 8 months and we did. I thought everything was settled and suddenly they started sending bills for 192 from late 2020 for surgery(2017). How come you suddenly appear after 3 years of surgery. You already gave a hard time for 8 months. You cannot keep asking Money. And You cannot hope better with them

The practice is a well oiled machine and operates so efficiently. They are so good at what they do. My only problem is how long it took me to get an appointment. They didn't want me to see a different Doctor and I understand that. But honestly who is more important here? The Doctor's feelings are my severe pain? Put the patient first always!
