BEWARE. I am one to take the time to write positive reviews, not negative. However, I do not wish for my experience to be replicated with another person. I had nerve damage from a surgical procedure and was referred by my surgeon to Dr. Rodriguez. During my first two visits, Dr. Rodriguez was very attentive and helpful. He put me on a pain medication that lessened my pain considerably. In my third month, however, I was passed along to a PA for the remainder of my visits even though I specifically requested to be seen by Dr. Rodriguez. During my last visit I was told that they will no longer prescribe pain medication unless I do the procedures from them that they recommend. I told them I was recovering from a horrible bout of COVID and my primary doctor said it could take four months to fully recover from all that I experienced (and still experience). I told Dr. Rodriguez’s PA that I was not interested in doing any procedures until after I had fully recovered from COVID. The PA discussed this with Dr. Rodriguez and came back into the patient room where I was waiting to tell me that they can no longer help me since I was opting out of doing a procedure at this time. I told her that was highly questionable business practices to reel you in initially with pain medications then stop unless you shell out money and time for a procedure they perform... leaving their patients in pain. DO NOT buy into their way of doing… medical pimps who lure you in only to up the ante. SHADY. SHADY. SHADY.

I cannot explain enough in words what The Pain Relief Center in Plano, Texas has meant to me in the last 14 days. Dr. Chen has the best personality, experience, and knowledge of any Dr. I have ever met. He listens and explains the issue and plan in a way that I have never experienced before. I moved to Texas a year ago and recently had an issue with back pain that was very debilitating. Dr Chen was quick to diagnose, and get me in for an injection and immediately control my pain. He surrounds himself with an impeccable staff, Jennifer, April, Randy, and Nancy and so many more I have not met. I am sure Dr. Rodriguez is absolutely the same way! They care about you, listen, want you to get better and never judge. If you have pain and want a place that is not only state of the art, but REALLY CARES about you! I implore you to choose The Pain Relief Center in Plano, Texas. Words cannot thank them enough and I will be a patient here as long as I need to be! I would experience on your own! You will NOT be disappointed.

Very unfortunate experience. I have been here once and Dr. Chen did seem very concerned at the time. I've been in and out of the hospital. In and out of different doctors appointments. I just had a spinal tap and had complications. I'm in excruciating pain. Unfortunately they will not see me unless I pay upfront. Seems to care more about money than the wellness of their patients. Times have been extremely rough. Especially this year. Financial troubles are at an all time high. One would think they would be able or even want to work something out. Hope you all have a Merry Christmas. Looks like I'll be laying in bed in pain rather in the living room celebrating with my family. What a major let down and soul crushing experience.

I met with Dr. Chen today and he spent at least 25 minutes diagnosing my issues. He was confident he could get me back to normal. It has been 25 days since my injury with little to no relief, but seeing Dr. Chen gave me hope that I can get my life back. He is compassionate, caring and listens which in his field is basically unheard of. The entire place is A status. I checked in the girls at the front desk were amazing, the girls that took my paper work and had me do the UA were unbelievably and it wasn't an act. I could hear Dr. Chen corresponding with the staff before my visit and it was genuine interaction. I called the nurse line with a question and they were 100% prompt and amazing as well. I moved from MN and took the first pain clinic I saw. I did not do research. I did this time on this move and it paid off. I was with 1 doctor for 15 years and trust in your Dr. and trust in the patient are important. This is the last place I will ever go for back pain. If I could give them 10 stars I would. I know I will get my life back! That is a great feeling. 7/16/20- The staff from Randy at the front desk to April and Jennifer on the Nurse line are first rate caring people that make every effort to help! Dr. Chen by far the best Dr. I have ever dealt with, caring best personality and Cares about what you have to say! I will Never go anywhere else! Lifelong patient!

Dr. Rodriguez and PA Debby Thomas have helped with reviewing MRI's then selecting the areas for injections & rhizotomys and seeing them through. Schedulers are good. I feel that the inner office communications could be a lot better. I was upset that they never notified me about closing the allergy clinic. Can I charge a cancelation fee haha Bottom line...I believe that the doctors and associates will continue to provide the treatments most beneficial for my chronic pain.
