Sifu Shaun welcomed me warmly from the 1st time we spoke on the phone. I have been a long time fan of Bruce Lee and student of his philosophy. I’ve been an athlete all my life and come from kickboxing fundamentals. It’s only my 3rd day and sifu and his student teachers are so incredibly patient and knowledgeable about the way of Jeet Kune Do. I’m blown away by how they embody not only the martial art but the philosophy. This place far exceeded my expectations and I strongly believe I will be a student for LIFE!

Completely worth it! You'll want to come to as many classes as you can because every class has something that you can implement in your self-defense CQC along with keeping in good shape. Edit: Seven months later, we are now given two more sets of instructors who come on Tuesday and Thursday nights respectively. Free of charge.They teach us the root of some of the fighting styles we use. That way, we can get an even better understanding of the lore of the particular style.

This academy is very inviting. The instructor Shaun Williams is incredibly patient and knowledgeable. He helps guide you on your path to having the tools and skills to protect yourself when needed. I believe all women should be taught Jeet Kune Do for self defense. Excited I joined his JKD family!
