Unbelievable! I have only been with this bank for approximately two months and holy heck! They are the absolute worst. A simple balance inquiry at the ATM is made difficult. I was told their ATM does not give a balance because they do not own the machine. What?! The machine can give me money but not give me a balance. That’s nuts! As it turns out the teller apparently doesn’t know what to say so she makes things up as she goes along. Then, I Make a simple deposit. Well while helping me she’s running back and forth from drive thru to the lobby. I ask how long will there be a hold. She says only one day. Perfect. Luckily I did not need the money right away because I was sent an email there’s additional holds on my account. I call and was told they placed a hold on another amount in my deposit when I only deposited one item. The teller mistakenly deposited someone else’s money into my account. Therefore, not only One customer inconvenienced but two. I hope that other customer doesn’t need their money right away. I worked in banks many years ago. I know a lot has changed but balances and straight deposits were the basic transactions.

The interior is well lit with windows and the bankers seem friendly at first, they are very quick to dismiss you upon appearance. I am young man with a business start up and the team at suntrust thinks it’s alright to withhold my personal and business funds for 1.5 months while I’ve waited patiently. I even informed them that I can’t buy food water or bills. I have gone to multiple branches and this one is by far the worst. They provide 0 information as to why I can’t access my funds. It’s not the individuals per se, it’s the fact that they are likely using my money to day trade while my day trades have been put on hold. Very selfish and I imagine suntrust will close, make more people experience malnutrition, or the most likely case be bought by someone with sympathy and empathy for the human race.
the employee Sandra Velez, I use and I enter my accounts without authorization! It's very dangerous that he did that! even more that I do not take into account that I had told him that I did not want him to enter my accounts! It was very rude and impotent for me!
I was already unimpressed with Suntrust’s business hours of 9-4pm, including the drive thru teller! What year do they think we’re in??? 1940? VERY inconvenient and a bad business practice. I’ve been contemplating closing my accounts with them for quite some time but delayed it because of the hassle. Now for the last few days their online banking system is down!!!! In this day and age why is it taking days to get this resolved. You close at 4 pm and now I can’t access my account online?!? This was the final straw. I will be closing my accounts. Avoid this bank.....their practices are archaic and their business handling is ridiculously slow. There are so many good banks out there, don’t waste your time with Suntrust
The new hours of operation are very,very inconvenient for businesses. 9:00 - 4:00 ?? I used to be able to make deposits at the drive thru before going to my office, and certainly after work before 5:00 if needed. I'm certainly going to have to rethink staying with Sun Trust.
