First time I've ever seen a long line here. Next time I'll avoid coming at the end of business on a Sunday. But given 20 or so vehicles it seemed to go very quickly. I pulled in, the crew removed the electronic waste items from my trunk and I was on my way with a quick scenic drive enjoying the ocean view along Mar Vista as I headed home.

Fast and organized household waste recycling center. I dropped off used cooking oil and it was easy. They take a lot of other household waste. Check their website.

I never knew about this place and today was my first time stopping by (Saturday, before 12pm). I found out about this center from calling and inquiring with my city’s recycling info line about recycling HHW (household harmful waste). I was expecting an extremely long line since they are only open on the weekends but it was manageable with 3 cars ahead of me. You need to place everything in your trunk for quick and contactless access. The workers are super fast. They just quickly unload all your items and let you go on your way. I dropped off old batteries, LED bulbs, aerosol cans, & old broken electronics. You’re suppose to be an LA County resident to utilize this place. They did not check if I was but just a heads up. I think this HHW program is great and very accessible. I will definitely be coming back.

So easy to recycle ️ here. Easy pull through and they take it from the trunk and you're on your way.
