The fair was cancelled but nobody communicated about it. If this is the best you can do, you should cancel this fair for good, you basically destroyed the reputation of this event and town. Pleasanton will be the laughing stock of the Bay Area from now on. Forever a one-horse-town. PS: it hardly rained
The May 2019 antique fair was cancelled with no notice on the website and no signage downtown Pleasanton. We drove all around town wondering where it was located. A huge crowd collected at the local Antique Mall wondering the same thing — people drove 2 and 3 hours to the fair without notice of it being cancelled. Whoever is responsible for managing this event should have had a communication plan for possible cancellation as the lack of information reflects back on the city of Pleasanton.
What a joke. I just wasted an hour driving to your fair. Nothing says it was cancelled. It says rain or shine on your website. Not one sign anywhere stating it was cancelled. Lots of people standing around wondering what was happening. Whoever is respoonsible for communications is an idiot and should be fired.
