I own a 2019 Malibu with a PCM motor. In October with roughly 170 hours the wiring harness failed and we had to be towed in to the marina. It is now nearly Jan 2021 and have received ZERO feedback when parts will be available. Yes I have reached out multiple times via phone, contact page, and IG site.. No response. My dealer has no feedback from PCM..I also find it interesting they have removed the contact page from their website, unless you type it in manually.. Horrible customer service after spending on a boat that is just sitting.. UPDATE: Representatives have reached out to me directly and are in the process of providing replacement parts and updating their records to reflect the transfer of ownership. I am thankful for the help and to finally get this resolved.

I am the owner of H&M Marine Service in Sausalito CA. We get our parts through a distributor for PCM called Trans Pacific Distributors. I am leaving a bad review here because of the parts policy PCM have. We recently purchased exhaust manifolds and elbows to be installed on a customers boat. Out of the box we were able to identify a bad casting in one of the elbows. After close inspection we installed the parts on our customers boat. We found that 1 of the elbows was leaking through the casting after we got it running. This was not something we caught even looking for a problem before we installed. We had to remove the parts (remotely) and replace with the new part. This cost us 4.5 hours and a bunch of other consumables. We are being told that their parts policy does not cover any labor. We are believers in OEM parts. After this experience we will never buy Crusader parts again unless there are no other option. I would also point out that even a company like sierra (aftermarket parts manufacturer) would have paid labor to repair an issue like this. Once upon a time PCM was a great company but today? I would never recommend PCM engines be installed in anyone's boat with a policy like this.

JC Sports has worked with PCM for many many years. Always great products and great customer service! They go above and beyond!

As a service center and dealer, we receive a ton of PCM products and engines all the time. Why is it that PCM quality has plummeted in the last few years? Something has gone terribly wrong. Customer service is bad, almost non existent. It's nearly impossible to get someone who is actually helpful. No one can answer questions clearly. A rep will say they will call you back for updates about inventory and parts, but they never will. The first few times I just figured it was cause they were busy, which is understandable, We are only human. But, this has been a far too often occurrence for nearly two years now. Very unresponsive and unprofessional. We purchase parts all the time, recently we've been receiving parts that are damaged. Exhaust risers and manifolds have clear scratches down the sides, which looks like they gave it a good thrashing and thought it would be a great idea to still send it. It has happened on over half of the orders we've made in the last few months. Is there anything good to say about PCM? To be honest, shipping on parts is pretty quick, thumbs up for that. But that doesn't make up for the headache is to speak with someone with some decent knowledge and always getting damaged parts. Not only does it make PCM look horrible, but my company as well. Unfortunately, I can't sit there and tell one of my customers that the manufacturer is the one who damaged the parts you ordered. No bueno. PCM has been in a downward spiral, especially in the last few years. I wonder if other dealerships and service centers experience the same? I hate to be "That guy" that leaves a horrible review, I really truly do, in fact, this is the first bad review I have ever had to leave in my entire existence. I just have to be honest. Hope this helps future PCM dealers and customers. Be safe out on the water!

Will not answer a technical question about there engines unless you are a dealership!!! That’s poor customer service in my opinion.
