I reached out for Christmas assistance and the woman I spoke to was very nice and helpful. She helped me apply for presents, christmas dinner help as well as giving me a box full of Thanksgiving food. Sometimes it's hard to ask for help but they made me feel welcomed and comfortable.

Very nice organization that works with the poor , the needy , and the homeless. We were there to drop off around 10 boxes of clothing and heavy winter wear. They also have a food pantry to help families make ends meet. A great group of people helping those in need. I highly recommend dropping off your gently used clothing and or food .

Everything posted here is TRUE! They steal donations- staff gets first pick, we get used gift card for the holidays. Or they they make us buy the donations at the thrift store downstairs. Winter was freezing they kept the heat on 67 until summer , no matter the temperature outside. Summer was hot no ac except in the living room. I could go on for days, but all I’m gonna say is this place is horrible and doesn’t do anything to help anyone! STAY AWAY!!!

I lived there yrs ago. The place has been the same as most of these people are complaining about but the way I looked at it was that I wasn't supposed to be happy or comfortable there. I was there for 2-3 months until I asked for a transfer where there was public transportation. The place I was sent was the same. Females stealing from each other. Arguments over food while the staff took for themselves. There all the same. The system is meant for you to not want to return. Funny how some were repeat residents. It's not designed for comfort but a place to stay out the rain and cold while getting yourself together with the blessing of having your children with you anything other than that is inspiration to get on your feet quickly!

An amazing charitable organization supporting local struggling and/or abused women and children. I bring clothing, books, and toys here any chance I get. I really love this organization. We are so lucky to have such great people giving their time to worthy causes like this. Service to others for the betterment of all.
