Organized, talented, and honest professionals who are a pleasure to work with. Cowdin Design Build wasn’t the cheapest quote I received to remodel my kitchen/great room, and laundry room and install hardwood floors throughout my home. But I wasn’t looking for cheap. I was looking for: 1. A professional design-build company who had the talent to help me translate my ideas, both vague and solid, into a complete design and then make that design a reality that I would enjoy living in. 2. A company I would feel good about having a relationship with for months if not years. One who I’d feel good about recommending to my friends and family. Or writing a positive Google review about. 3. A company who would stand behind their work. As an IT project manager, I judge project leadership by how they handle the inevitable issues that come up in any big project. Bill Cowdin never disappointed me. They participated in the planning at my pace, allowing me to be sure of my design choices before execution. I made a lot of changes during the planning phase but Dawn Orzech, the designer, is a pro who rolled with me and even found a little humor as I kept making changes during planning. I think I actually surprised her when I said, “I’m ready, let’s do this.” But only for a minute. I’m thrilled with the results. The whole experience exceeded my expectations.

Our remodel project was a good success. We had valuable input and ideas from both Dawn (great features) and Phil for the overall design, and the results show it. The project management team, Rick, Dave, and Bill had good suggestions and guidance throughout managing the process. The subcontractors' quality work and responsiveness was noteworthy. Cowdin guys (Greg, Dave, Mike) were quality focused and took the time to do things right. Of particular note was Greg's meticulous attention to quality and the finishing details in every part of the project he worked on. Thanks for a job well done.

My experience with Cowdin from start to finish was the most professionally handled job ever !! Their team understood my wants, offered up many great suggestions and came through on time and on budget. They did a complete basement build that has been viewed by many and have stated it is the nicest they have seen. I highly recommend this team to do any kind of new, remodeled or repairs in any home. We are on our 3rd home remodel now (our home, mom's and a flip house) with Cowdin Design over the last 2 years. They have an amazing team who listens to what you want, creative ideas and are always at the forefront of what's next in the design industry. This is a rare in my opinion for Michigan. Their pricing is in line with a great contractor and not box store materials. The guys always take care of the property as if it's their own. As you can see from the photos on our primary home from computer image to final product they Nailed it! As the new area settled we saw a crack in the Drywall a year later and they were there the following week to address it. That is great customer service that I feel is unique to Bill and his team. If you really want to redesign your home or build a new one Cowdin Design is the real deal.
