Worth the money to visit, especially if you are a history buff. Its great for kids too. You get to step back in time and ask questions to actors who are dressed in 17 century wardrobe. Its pretty cool. You learn about pilgrims and the mayflower in school. This is a great way to revisit that subject and leave with sense of going back in time.

My husband and I stopped here on our way home from the Cape. I'm so glad we did. It's such an interesting place. The people at each place we stopped were full of information. They had so much knowledge about the history of the place. They sometimes even spoke to you as if you were back in the 1600's. Really cool. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. I highly recommend stopping here if you have the time. We spent about 3 hours here. You can do it quicker if you don't want to speak with the people there. I recommend you do though.
This is one of my favorite all time museums. The interaction with the people is second to none. The living history brings life in 1628 to a whole different level of understanding. I love, my children love it, and my grandchildren love it. In other words they're is something here for all ages and level of interest in history. It can be a little overwhelming if you visit at the same time as a school field trip, you just need to be patient and await your turn to ask questions and have some conversations.
Very informative historic live recreation of both Native American and English settlers in the Plymouth colony circa 1620. Amazing to see how they both lived in those days with next to nothing. An educational and humbling experience.
Went as a day trip with my boyfriend on Veteran's Day. I went as a child during school field trips while he didn't. The park is divided into Patuxet section (Wampanoag tribe) & Plymouth section (English settlers) where you can see buildings from those respective times and practices. We saw a canoe being hollowed out by fire which was super cool. Would definitely recommend as a part of history! I would recommend wearing comfortable shoes as the park is hilly and has some uneven surfaces
