I love coming here and getting food delivered from here. The staff is nice and polite, the food looks and tastes fresh, and the atmosphere feels friendly. The interior design looks cool and interesting as well. The only thing that bums me out about this place is that they run out of their desserts fast, and it's hard to find other places that sell some of the desserts they make here.

I was a big fan of the tea, pickled platter and chiburek! My mom had the plov and really liked it

Highly recommend this place. It is somewhat smaller in size but great food and service. some of the best rice I have ever had and very tender and tasteful beef. Price is in the middle- see menu picture. I ordered the Plav as was recommended and was very satisfied. This is somewhat of a hidden spot that more people should be aware of.

We went there for the first time today. I believe we were served by the owner, who is a very nice and friendly person. I asked for something traditional, rather than ordering from the menu myself, and he brought us a samsa (not on the dinner menu) and plov. It was delicious. It was a Saturday evening, so the only complaint was that the music (karaoke) was maybe just a little too loud, but I will definitely go back.

Our first two choices were closed, so I picked Samarkand not knowing what it was at first. I mean...Uzbeki food in Minnesota? Whoda thunk it? Wow! It's sort of a fusion of Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, and Asian flavors. The food ingredients are so simple, but blended together so artfully they achieve a depth of flavor that dances on your tongue! I highly recommend this place to anyone who truly wants an authentic cultured meal. We will be back!

My wife and I came here on our 6th. Wedding Anniversary, we wanted to try something different. This was very delicious food. I had the lam chops, not the proper name on the menu, they were fantastic!!! My wife had the kebab, assorted, fantastic!! I am not a beet fan but the Borscht was super good, I ate entirely!! EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS!! The decor is beautiful inside as well, beautiful pictures, curtains and very nice table setting presentation, sparkling and clean, loved it!! Hoping to go back soon. Price is decent, closer to higher than lower, but affordable. The one thing I reccomend is to serve bottled water, not faucet water, nor spring water. Great place, great service, very friendly staff, they were willing to explain the dishes to us very patiently.
