Great store with great service and knowledgeable staff. Large selection of HO, N, and O scale trains and related supplies for good prices. If they don't have something in store, they will gladly order it for you which is a plus. Repair services also available and they do a great job! I recommend them to everyone in the hobby.

Fantastic Store - there are very few stores dedicated to model railroading left in NJ. If you are anywhere in Ocean or Monmouth counties, count yourself lucky that the Train Room is nearby. They have a great selection, support all scales, and back it up with an incredibly knowledgeable staff. If you haven't been, it is worth the trip.
When I walked into this store for the first time, the only word that came to my mind was wow. It's not just the trains, the engines, the free cars, the passenger cars, the track... But also all of the scenery, the mountains, the bridges, the parts needed to make a small town that would revolve around an old-time Railroad. Even the backdrops the miniaturised gravel, and paint. Also a very nice train display in the front of the store did any young kid even my 65 year old self young kid would probably stand next to and watch for a very long time. A great place to come in and look around even if you're not up for buying
great store for model railroad supplies, models, and locomotives and rolling stock. Friendly and very knowledgable, they know the business and the hobby. Highly recommended for anyone in the area who is interested in model trains from beginners to experienced advanced hobbiests.
Nice friendly staff, store has a nice mix of all scales and if they don't have it they will order it.
