I just want to share our personal experience with Whitman construction. From from the beginning of our solar project we dealt with Chris Gill, who walked us step by step through the solar process and made it understandable for the average person. Chris is not one of those salesmen that get the customer on the hook and then you can never find them. He answered every phone call If not on the first try, he immediately called us back. Mr Whitman must know how the hire people, because he has great employees. Every employee that we dealt with throughout the process young or old was extremely professional and courteous to my wife children and myself. Krista was always helpful with scheduling and made sure everything went seamless. Part of our project we received a new roof. We have a fairly large roof and the roofers completed the entire project in one day and it came out beautiful. They cleaned up every bit of mess they made and you didn't even know they were here. During the install process they even send out a representative who will sit in front of your house all day and wait for the township to come inspect their work to take the burden off the homeowner. The gentleman waited sometimes close to 8 hours before an inspector would show up. He entertained my children by showing them the drone that takes aerial shots of your solar project on your house which they got to kick out of. In closing we couldn't be happier but the decision that we made to go solar and we certainly chose the right company for the job!!!. Anybody looking to go solar, I strongly suggest using Whitman you won't be sorry.

Finished the job in one day. Sub put a foot through my ceiling. They said they will fix it. Still waiting but foreman stopped by today and told me that the ball was rolling I just needed to call and schedule it. Overall responsive and timely. Foreman was very helpful and knowledgeable regarding my concern for discolored plywood. I thought it was water leakage but it was actually oil from manufacturing and transport. Fortunately, they used 3/4 inch since my rafters are 20 inch on center and even some superficial ugliness won't have any negative effect on the actual quality of roof.

I had solar panels installed by this company. This past snow storm caused a leak on December 18th. They did send someone to come check it out on the 22nd and I was told someone would get back to me to do actual repairs.. When I call back today, 12/29 I was told the girl that schedules repairs is on vacation. How is a company that is so well knowned and so responsible have me with a leak for more than 10 days and was told they can MAYBE send someone out in the beginning of January?

I chose this company over 10 other companies for my solar panels based on the presentation from the sales rep Edgar and the Phase Solar Panels they use. Edgar did not try to sell me he listened to my needs and concerns and together we came up with a great system that has been in place for two years and provides all the energy it said it would. Everyone that I spoke to at the office was very friendly and supportive but it was the professionalism of Edgar that sold me on the company. We have not had any Electrical or equipment failure since the install. The panels are paying for them self by the monthly SREC we received from the state of New Jersey. % pleases

Honoring the warranty to last day of the contract,wasnt honored.The faulty installation of the new attic fan with roof job,caused 8,000 worth of damage. Water test after water test After test, the whole roof the fan went into living space, the point of origin was the fan---- 19 years 6months and 3 days of water Damage,that you couldnt figure where the entry was coming.. WARANTY IS AS GOODNAS THE COMPANY HONORING IT. MY FIRST ONE STAR GIVEN,IN BEING A TOP LEVEL GOOGLE REVIEWER. WASNT AN EASY DECISION TO MAKE. NOT SO QUALITY WARRANTY WORK.
