Best place to visit for piece of mind and good drive to the place during weekend.

A perfect pleasant devotional place. Heard a lot about this place before my first visit. I had a special experience in my first visit and it is my best reason to visit the temple many times. The drive to the temple is very interesting. But as it is deep in woods, it is advised not to visit the temple or travel after dusk. The idols here are very huge and looks like complete. The idols have a special look and they look very homely. The Ananthapadmanabha swamy Idol is very broad, big and beautiful. The whole and soul concept of the temple is “Yadha Shakthi” (Donations and Pooja services are not charged you can give any amount for any service or Poojas you want to get it done). FOOD service in temple is one savior for many devotees. We don’t have many options near the temple for rice-lovers. We did Satyanarayana vratam on one full moon day and highly satisfied. Priest services are available and all the priest are very good.

We visited the temple on 1/16/21. I had checked the website and called the number the website provided. None of these mentioned that the temple was closed until further notice. After driving for nearly hundred miles, we were disappointed. Nevertheless, I was able to get my donation check to someone at the temple. After this, we called the Balaji Temple at Bridgewater. The phone was answered by a person who gave us all the information. We were so pleased after our visit to the Bridgewater Temple, given how efficient they were guiding the devotees and their organizing for COVID safety was superb and so far the best we have seen.
