Great company. Staff is great. Boats are always ready when I come. It's definitely more cost affective and convenient than owning a boat. I would highly recommend best boat club.

Rented a 22 ft. Nautic Star powerboat for afternoon family fun. We cruised the intercostal for 4 hours on New Year's Eve. All in it costs about 490.00 dollars. They do put a 1,000 dollar hold on your credit card in case you damage the boat. The boat had some existing damage to include a missing a windshield and some kind of burn (rope?) on a cushion. Only used about 16.00 dollars in gas. The customer service agent was very helpful and courteous. There was no radio on board and the agent stated they only gave them out if you were going out to the ocean. We did have 2 mobile phones on board so didn't really push the issue. There was no problems with the boat and it handled well. I would return to rent a boat here again.

I rented out the Red Drum 26’ last Saturday for 4 hours from 1pm to 5pm and paid in full prior to entering the boat. Only to find out two hours in that we were given a defective boat. The anchor came completely off the chain when we were idling. My friends and I did the company the courtesy of looking for the anchor for an hour and ended up finding it. I called the office right away and let them know of the situation. Dane specifically let us know that we would not be charged a late fee due to the boat taking away an hour of our leisure time. We ended up returning the boat an hour late and Dane let us know we wouldn’t be charged any late fees because of the inconvenience we incurred. We ended up getting charged the full late fee of 150.00. They refused to reimburse the late fee after ruining our experience with a defective boat. Do not rent with these people they are money hungry and have absolutely no customer service. I’m inclined to pursue legal for a full refund after this terrible experience. P.S. there were another 7 people on this boat that heard Dane say these specific words and took pictures with a time stamp of their rusted broken chain that couldn’t hold on to the anchor.

We have rented annually with Best Boat Club for more than 10 years and have never been disappointed. The staff have always been very professional and the boats clean and comfortable. Their locations are excellent and I never hesitate to recommend them.

Mike Akins

Took a boating class here. Instructor was great, I learned a lot and had fun on the water. Look forward to advanced classes in the future. The only negative was the training boat wasn't in the best condition.
