Since I was there a new agency has taken control so I'm giving 3 stars instead of the zero which was my experience. It was beyond horrible. I know someone who is there now who has no complaints. If you need help please go, get off the street and put in the effort to get all of the services they offer. I'm sure you need to push them a little to get housing assistance etc. Best of luck to anyone who needs this resource.

I had been homeless since Hurricane Irma destroyed the house I was renting. After staying here and there w/friends I was told to call 211 for information to get connected with the homeless coalition. I arrived at St. Laurants Chapel to meet with the ppl to see if i could get a place to feel safe & be able to eat. I was accepted into their program for 60 days. That was on Nov 15th, 2018. I cried tears of Joy. I Will Never forget my time i spent there, the staff, the people were all very nice to me. I met quite a few amazing people. I attended the classes and reconnected with the Lord. On December 31st, 2018, God answered my prayers and opened my sister's Who offered me a place to live at her home. I'm forever grateful to the Broward Outreach Center and eternally grateful to God for blessing Me With such an amazing sister. I've been very blessed to have a safe place that i can finally call home and be surrounded by all my family. My rent is affordable for me and I'm not alone anymore. I was Saddend to hear that B.O.C. and St. Laurants are no longer there, If not for them & the Homeless Coalition I'd still be on the streets, i doubt I'd be alive. I hear the only other shelter in Broward County is all the way in Hollywood. I Praise God every day for never giving up on me! Thank you For Letting me see That there are good ppl in this world.
