Any child who has grown up around or near the Bay Area know of the wonder of this museum. The California Academy of Sciences has been a staple in Golden Gate Park nearly forever, at least to this reviewer. The building is beautiful and large, unclear where it begins and ends. A giant aquarium that you can immerse yourself in. My personal favorite is the penguins. Naturally this place is meant for the family, and caters towards children with a curious mind. At first was not a fan of the taxidermy exhibits that have been there since I was kid, but I was then informed that they have been around since the 1930s. I do like the historical aspect to that, wish I knew a more about them.

Really comfortable outdoor fresh air setup for entertainment. Plentiful parking. Usually have vendors in the area. Enjoyable times here and the sound was good musically.

I have gone to so many shows here, I love this venue. It really showcases our beautiful Florida weather. This past summer I saw the Hendrix show. It was great, crowd skewed older as you might expect. They keep this up very well.
