Its a very nice and clean place for the homeless community in Broward County and it's also the only day shelter in the county. They provide services for the homeless community other than breakfast and lunch. They also started a overnight program a year ago.

The people that run the place pick and choose who they really want to help. My mail and my checks were robbed from there and the people running the place did not have a care in the world. I have seen people smoking crack in the men's room. It is the same homeless Circle over and over again a revolving door. They Thrive off the same homeless people that have been going there for over 10 years to keep a paycheck in their pocket. These people there should not be handling people's personal mail. They hold people's mail to keep making them come back. It's a sick twisted homeless game that this woman plays with people's lives there. They cater to the same homeless individuals to keep them in business. At one time I thought this was a good place. but it's just one of those places where they use the homeless for a paycheck. Karma will get you god knows

Pleasent front desk staff, but that's about it. Computers were broken, showers were broken, over crowded. If you really need somewhere to lay in the day there are plenty of parks that are more comfortable and don't smell as bad. it's far from any main bus stops, or establishments, good spot to start if you just got out of prison, but there are better programs out there. Lifenet4families far exceeds this place.

Upon arrival to the facilities, i was forced to throw away a 200 engagement ring, 150 of medicine, 150 worth of medical equipment, a75 worth of hygiene products and about 350 worth of close and shoes. After they made me take a bath with a hotel sized bar of soap no rag and a small shower and i had to put on the same cloths i arrived in. After about 45 minutes of back abd firth between building's due to employee confusion and mistreatment, they advised me it would take 3 to 5 days to be accepted to stay there, mind you it was a Friday and i had no where else to go, no cloths or hygiene products. I had to close all my bank accounts (2) and use tge 300 i had to get on a plane to boston, and borrow money to assist with buying hair products, a pair or sweat pants, under garments and propel. I still couldn't afford to buy food so a friend gave me money so id be able to eat.
