Last week I had the privilege of meeting Aldo and taking Kite boarding lessons from him. He was very easy going and made the whole experience very enjoyable and memorable. He had the ability to explain the art of kite boarding in a way that I was able to understand and grasp. I had an absolute blast and due to his patience and expertise I was able to get up and ride. I am filled with so much joy and excitement after that experience and I consider it to be the best Christmas present. If anyone is serious about learning how to kite board this is the place to do it!!

What a great way to learn kite surfing! My first lesson was on the beach with a friend. I became intimidated as the kite came close to hitting a few people. But the spot that Aldo trains you in is waist deep water on a sandbar with no obstacles in your way. The quick launching kites were awesome! I felt like I had double the training time that I would have had if trained on the beach. Not intimidated anymore. Thanks again for a great time and I look forward to the next time!
Aldo has to be the most knowledgeable kite boarding instructor in Florida. We stopped in the shop to get an idea of what is involved in learning to kite and Aldo answered all of our questions. Aldo is definitely who will be teaching me to kite. Great shop, great prices. And if you get a chance to watch him kite you will be amazed!
Really a great place to learn and some the the nicest and knowledgeable people I have met in the industry. I picked up all my gear there and am currently taking lessons on my way to being a good kite boarder in a safe and fun environment. They have a pontoon boat that takes you out to Aldo's Island where the water is flat and the winds are high so you do not have to deal with the surf right away. I cannot tell you how much I enjoy my lessons and knowing the people who work there. Just my two cents, Thomas
A more fun adventure would be hard to find. The Kitesurf Place crew are super friendly and fun, and have a nice open and honest business style. If you want to learn to kitesurf they are the folks who can make it happen quickly in a safe, easy and beautiful setting. After you learn and it's time to gear up they will get you good prices on what you personally need and not just what is left over in stock. I've never been steered wrong by their advice. Whether it's a day trip on the boat, kite gear for your next session or good local advice I highly recommend them.
The Kitesurf Place is the go-to place for all of my Kiting needs. Aldo and his team have always been there to help me out. The lessons I have taken and the gear I have purchased from the Kitsurf place have really allowed me to take my abilities to the next level. Although I'm not living in the area a the moment I still contact Aldo for any of my needs because I know he will be honest and forthright about what I should do or buy. I totally recommend Aldo because he will treat you right.
Aldo has moved his kite surfing operations to San Salvador, Bahamas. This is a fantastic place to learn and enjoy the Ocean and Beach and Aldo is one of the best instructors.
Well I was promised a shirt with the purchase of my new kitersuf, board, harness, impact vest... etc.. Never got it! Tried to purchase a gadget for my pump, it was promised to be sent and that was over a month ago and when I asked again it was re-promised and nothing. I had also asked about the kitesurfing trips, "Oh yeah get a wetsuit, boots and well call you" I spent over 100 on a wetsuit and its been hanging in my closet ever since because they never got back to me and when I reached out I was assured that I would be contacted yet never happened. Great service when your wallet is open but after you spent 1700 don't count with anymore support. I received the pump gadget finally! Changed rating.
