Excellent service and the food was great! They were very conscience of their table spacing and the restaurant was very clean! We went for brunch and we were not disappointed. Their BLT omelette was delicious, with the side of cornbread and potatoes yummy! We loved the cornbread so much that we asked for an order to go. We also had the black bean wrap and eggs Florentine. Both were made well. All dishes were a nice size. This restaurant has very high ceilings and beautiful artwork on the walls. With covid-19 we are all weary of eating inside, but Pond House Cafe handled all the nessacary rules to make you comfortable while eating there. I will definitely be back, hopefully in the warmer weather so we can enjoy the park too!

Oh my goodness, cant believe how good the food is, the atmosphere is amazing. I have paid twice as much for food that was half as good. Cant say enough good about Pond House and the service we received from Susan. In closing great food great prices.

My wife and I celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary here last night and it was truly magical. The staff bent over backwards to accommodate us and seated us in a romantic setting. The waiter, Mike, was without a doubt one of the best waiters we’ve ever encountered. We feel like we should have HIM over for dinner one night! The menu is small but really eclectic and all you need is there. The food was spectacular from soup, risotto appetizer (amazing!!) sandwich (lobster BLT, heavenly) to their famous Indian rice dish. We will come back again and again.

Fantastic spot! I googled “breakfast with a view” and this place popped up, it did not disappoint, the staff was awesome. The brunch waitress went out of her way to make us feel welcome and was very attentive. The food was way above expectation, and we were able to finish our coffees out in the gazebo with a view of the pond. Great experience as well as grub, would highly recommend to a friend.

Nice restaurant in Elizabeth Park. Beautiful setting both inside and out. Eclectic menu, good service. There is a walk up ice cream shack, serving ice cream and refreshment for the mass on a hot day. The outside ground is well decorated with shrubs and flowers. A good restaurant that compliments very well with a beautiful garden in the tony part of West Hartford.
