Love this place but wouldn’t refund a deposit even though I’m giving them a 72 hour notice! Wouldn’t even credit this to some others I would be staying there with! Pretty unprofessional.

CAUTION!! Word to the wise. I accidentally made a reservation at this park. Unfortunately when making my travel plans I had made the decision to stay at Galveston Island RV Resort; however, when I actually went to make the reservation I Googled Island RV Resort and called the number for this resort by mistake not aware that there was another Island RV Resort just south of the one I wanted. Within a couple of days I realized the mistake I had made. Upon realizing my mistake I called a couple of times but could never get an answer so I wrote an email explaining my situation. After not getting any response to my email I decided to call again and finally was told, by the person answering the phone, that they would have to talk to the manager. The following day I got a response to my email explaining that they DO NOT refund deposits (150). So even though I let them know within a couple of days of making the reservation for a stay, almost 2 months away, they had no interest in refunding my deposit. I can see from other reviews on here that apparently others have had issues with the management of this park! Choose your RV Park wisely...

This RV resort is for those that prefer cleanliness and quiet observation hours. This is a very tranquil place with friendly faces. They accommodate both full-time and occasional visitors. The bath house is always cleaned between 10-11 a.m. like clockwork. Pull is cleaned daily. Plenty of walking space and beautiful breezes. You can easily walk to downtown shops and you're just a mile or so to ocean access. You have multiple options to eat nearby. There is great ice cream shop nearby for a cool treat. Many fulltimers I see every year when I visit. That speaks volumes.

Owner is extremely sweet. The campground is a little cramped, but very well kept. Very nice pool & hot tub. Prices are good and location is great.
