Beautiful park. It was perfect for us. Great area for riding our bikes. Big field for running the dogs with the Frisbee. Sunrise was worth getting up for! We will definitely make our way over there again!

Quiet campground. The restrooms are routinely cleaned with nice shower facilities. The dock leading out is cool, just watch your step when going out.

I would never camp here again. We paid for two nights at two sites that were both on a narrow center strip of grass between two roads (not like typical campgrounds, this was more like they decided the median could make them money) right underneath a giant flood light that stayed on all night. When I asked the park host the morning of our second day if we could relocate to another site that didn’t have a prison-like light glaring over the entire area all night, she refused to be of any help and claimed all the sites were occupied for the night, which was untrue, considering the rest of this weird strip stayed unoccupied for the remainder of our stay. The light was such a bummer that we had to use one of our camp canopies just to create shade at night to actually enjoy the ambiance of our fire. Ridiculous. Felt like we were camping in the middle of a sporting event tailgate.

A really neat place! There is camping here right on the lake, so beautiful! There is also a lighthouse that you can go into. Very informative, has rooms the way it would have been when it was active, kitchen, bedrooms, very nice. Also information on nearby ship wrecks and artifacts from several of them. Also has a real time map showing all the ships on the Great Lakes at that time. A little souvenir shop with a lot of books about shipwrecks, lighthouses, the Great Lakes and apparel with the lighthouse on them. The lighthouse and souvenir shop is run by volunteers, who were very nice.
