Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time. Every Wednesday we meet at noon at the Radisson Plaza Hotel in downtown Kalamazoo for lunch. We enjoy socializing, laughter, and a fun and informative program about current events, local businesses, interesting people, historical topics, or other items of interest. We are never bored or boring. We fund raise and work for local nonprofit charities. Children are the primary focus of Kiwanis clubs internationally and they are our primary focus as well. We spend a lot of time helping the folks at Pretty Lake Vacation Camp provide an outstanding, week-long summer resident camp to underprivileged children. We provide dictionaries to every third grader in Kalamazoo Public Schools, and we support Constance Brown Hearing Centers provide new born hearing screenings. We are busy and active, but always having fun. We invite you to come join us for lunch and see what we are all about.
