I purchased an awesome knife from Texan Knives. The only problem I had was that there was too many cool knives to choose from. I will definitely buy another in the near future. Each knife is a piece of art. - Jay

So far I have only gone to sharpen my knives and lawn mower blades. They were sharpened well, enough to shave. I give it four stars because I did notice the aesthetics of the knives were not 5 star. I base my claim on a Houston artist that makes native jewelry, paintings, and knives. Saw him at a market off I-10. I bought a beautiful skinner Damascus knife from INDIO ART in houston for a discounted price of 100. It looked amazing. Only thing it lacked was sharpness, but to the guys defense, he said he didn’t have them razor sharp because most customers may cut themselves. Anyways, Texan knives has sharpened my knives good for a good price. I was thinking of supporting a Local shop and buying a knife there. I hope other reviews are wrong and these knives are not made in Pakistan, but if they are than I can’t be mad either because Texan knives never claimed they were made here in Texas. I understand if metal is from pakistan, but I atleast want to know that the knives were made here. I am not saying a Pakistani can’t make a better knife than a Texan, but I just want to buy a Texan made knife.

I bought a folding knife from them as they claimed it being Damascus steel, and it was. However, the knife I received has multiple cracks in the blade itself from poor welding. I contacted them to redeem their claimed “lifetime warranty “ and have not received a response. Which is unfortunately what I predicted what would happen. Save your money and buy from a reputable brand/company, even if it costs quite a bit more.
