I rent from 1 to 30 bikes daily. My account balance is currently 1579.00 when I reach 1800.00 i will be able to ride the bikes for free till I'm 120 yrs old that will be 50 yrs from today.

We tried it, we like it. Easy to sign up, easy to pay, easy to unlock your bike, easy to ride as it has a little ride assist. HOWEVER, we rode across the bridge and stopped for breakfast. You only have 30 min holding time and then guess what???.......somebody can take that bike, OMG that happened to us. Just a short panic, lucky the APP had another location we could walk to and rent another bike. Try it, you'll get around town faster.

Highly recommend AGAINST using this bike service. Nearly every keypad is impossible to use / most bikes “in repair” or the keypad just entirely broken. Customer service is useless and not helpful. Terrible experience. Huge waste of money.

These bikes are NOT owned by Nike, they are owned by PBOT. PBOT offers a discounted program for qualifying individuals, and the service is quite beneficial. (BIKETOWN FOR ALL) There is always a bike nearby, and available for me to use, and I find them quite handy and comfortable to ride. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars, is sometimes you get a bike where the seat likes to slide down while you are riding it, so you need to make sure to select a bike where this does not happen. Great service!

Initially, my boyfriend and I were fairly content with the bike sharing system. We thought the 2 fee for locking up at a non-Biketown rack was annoying but fair, and we checked out bikes on numerous occasions this year. Our opinion changed drastically after our experience today, during which I was charged 24.50 for a 1-1.5 hour trip. We planned to go to Pip's this morning. I checked out a Biketown bike and rode over ( BF now has his own bike). I locked up the bike at a non-certified rack prepared to stomach the 2 fee as I have on several occasions prior. My boyfriend and I then ordered our donuts and chai and sat down at a table invigorated from our ride and eagerly awaiting our food. Next thing I know, I received an email from Biketown stating that I am being charged a 20 fee for locking up "out of bounds." I was stunned. Alas, I tried to maintain my composure and thought that maybe the fee would be rescinded once I returned to the bike to a Biketown rack. I found out the hard way, that that is not the case. This fee is appalling and senseless considering I had every intention of returning the bike to the station I rented it from. I have no intention to ever use this service again and am on my way to purchase a bike for myself at this very moment. Good riddance, Biketown!

AVOID! Not worth it for the hidden charges, clunky equipment, and miserable customer service.

Avoid using this at all costs - the bike is terrible, you can't leave a zone and park the bike outside of the parking stations or your charged a ton of money. Horrible experience.
