David is an excellent massage therapist, with both a precise knowledge of anatomy and a compassionate approach. He has a thorough understanding of a variety of modalities—from Thai to NMT—which creates a well-rounded, fully therapeutic experience for his clients. I am a former massage therapist, and am terribly picky about who I receive massage therapy from—and Davis is at the top of my list.

I am a little late in writing this as I had my first massage with David last weekend. David is an extremely nice and personable man who really takes time to give a strong yet relaxing massage. I did the 2 hr massage and almost fell asleep during some of it due to how relaxing it was. The strength and care that he puts into his massages allowed me to feel relief instantly. You will not regret your time on his massage table and will walk away relaxed and renewed. Thank you so much David! -Xander
I recently moved to Portland and was looking for a massage therapist to help with a new injury and an older chronic pain issue. I'm really glad I found David as after two sessions I'm feeling better. David is extremely knowledgeable and listens carefully to his clients. He is very skilled and the best massage therapist I've ever been to. I highly recommend David!
David is a fabulous massage therapist. The depth of his knowledge is very impressive. He is extremely professional and really makes an effort to understand his clients. His studio is beautiful, warm and inviting. David has wonderful contacts and resources and will not hesitate to refer clients to other health practitioners if he feels they would be better served with them (either instead of or in conjunction with him). He truly puts his clients first.
My friend from Japan whose English is limited was grateful David’s massage therapy. During her short stay in Portland she needed to maintain her physical condition to enjoy every moment. David’s therapy helped her getting over jet lag quickly and being able to sleep well. In fact, David’s help was so effective, she returned to him in her 2.5 week staying. She said that David’s communication was gentle and thorough which gave her feeling relaxed in an English speaking culture. I highly recommend other non-English speaking people to receive David’s massage therapy!
