I found the service at Distinctive Sound to be top notch. The owner John is extremely knowledgeable! He does a great job of helping someone who knows very little about car stereos feel good about making choices around which components are quality and not just expensive. I have often found car stereo sales people to be constantly up selling me. I did not get that feeling here! Install went smoothly and looked great. A couple weeks down the road on of the speakers started to sound funny so I brought it in and they replaced it no charge. So a big thumbs up to this business and it’s staff. Always friendly and helpful!

John told me to show up at 10am (their opening time on Saturday) and he never showed up. I waited 20 minutes and a neighboring business operator came told me John was running late (at least another 30 minutes). There was another customer standing around waiting too. I won’t be returning. Distinctive Sound also charges a minimum of 100 for diagnostic work and 100/hr after that FYI.

John came out to my house in Canby for a mobile install of a Viper alarm system.. Super friendly knowledgeable service!

Update. Was contacted and arrangements made to to look at it sometime in Jan. Heres to hoping it's an easy fix. Not sure what's gonna happen if it's not. Appreciate them reaching out. 3 stars for now. We'll update if/when it gets looked at. Posting due to the horrible experience. Paid 900 for a backup camera a year ago. Was told as long as I have my number it's covered. Called today and was told new \owner\ wouldn't warranty the work. What a joke. Wouldn't give them my leftover pho from next door.
