A homey spot, where staff sorry y each other and the residents
like
I worked here a few years ago. They only care about the money and not the staff or residents. They only really care about residents that are private pay. But even that's not true because they would put them and the staff in danger just so they could keep the resident there. For whatever reason they did not want to use hoyer's (machines that can be used to life you to and from bed to chair without any lifting or residents help.) So they had one resident that was really heavy and who's legs would give out, leading to multiple injuries. Also another resident who used a sit to stand (divice used to help people getting into a sitting to standing position. Only to be used if the person could stand) and could not stand at all. She was just unsafely dangling there. Other situations were that they had made a rule that they didn't want staff talking to each other at all. One new employee asked me a question and we got scolded for it, even though we explained the situation. How could I also not mention that there was a staff member who was caught having a elationship\ with a resident. She was using him for financial help. Or the fact that a coworker of mine who always did an amazing job and worked allot of overtime asked to become a med aid and was basically told that I'd she did him a \favor\ that he'd consider it. Or the fact that even the best employees were barely making over minimum wage. Just thinking of all the details, you might be inclined to think that all this is to far fetched to be true. I find it surprising myself, but that is how it really was. Don't work her or send your parents here.
place is horrible and a joke there’s so much drama here and the higher up think they are better then the caregivers and don’t listen with reason
My mother is a resident in the memory care facility, and the staff is amazing. They provide great care for all the residents and are friendly. Nicole & Johnathan are hands down the best care takers in the industry.
Dont let your family live here! They are very misleading. They will only see your family member as a dollar bill sign/paycheck. People like this shouldn't be in the assisted living business if their number one goal is not to take care of our disabled and elderly. Also, very poor communication.
