I highly recommend this deli store. The food and service are very good. They have great stories of the experiences from the socialist countries from where they once lived.

Friendly Food is, as the name implies - friendly. I think the woman at the counter is the owner, she was very pleasant and helpful. It seems they have a small bakery in the back where they bake some of the desserts they sell. The food I bought is fresh, delicious and reasonably priced. If you're adventurous, try \herring under (fur?) coat\ salad - it's layers of potatoes, herring pieces, beets, mayo, maybe something else and really flavorful! If you're there when they make pirozhki - ask them to warm one up for you and have it on the spot :-) The store is not big at all, but selection is pretty good.
